Hireyard
The hire register that works in the yard. Keep the stock you hire out with its real rate card, write multi-line hires, take returns a piece at a time, and let the rent add itself up — then answer the question that actually loses customers: can I promise 150 chairs on the 14th?

Who it is for
Small hire businesses working out of a yard or godown: event and party hire (chairs, tables, tents, crockery, sound), tool and plant hire, AV and camera kit. Twenty to three hundred lines of stock, mostly counted in bulk, kept today in a paper hire register — because the yard has no signal, every rival app wants a subscription and an account, and the customer list is the business's own commercial data.
What it does
Yard stock with real rate cards
Per-day, per-week or flat rates, a deposit per piece and a replacement value. Count bulk stock like chairs, or track kit individually with its own codes and condition.
Multi-line hire contracts
One ticket, one customer, one date range, as many lines of kit as the job needs — moving through Booked → Out → Part-returned → Closed, with cancel and reopen.
Returns a piece at a time
Record what came back, what came back damaged and what never came back at all. Stock flows back into the yard automatically and lost pieces are written off the owned count.
Rent that adds itself up
Chargeable days from your own grace hours and minimum charge, live "rent so far" while kit is out, loss charged at replacement value, and a balance netted against deposit and advance.
Availability, before you promise
Ask whether a list of kit can be committed on a date range. Hireyard answers line by line, names the hire standing in the way, and turns a clean answer straight into a booking.
Due-back and overdue agenda
Today, tomorrow, this week and overdue with aging — an in-app list you open, never a push notification, so the app needs no notification permission at all.
Insights that change decisions
Rent per day and pieces out per day as charts, utilisation ranked per item, revenue by category, overdue aging — and a dead-stock list of kit earning nothing.
Customers and their record
Hire history, outstanding balance, on-time return rate, repeat-customer detection and a "watch closely" flag for the ones who bring kit back late.
Streaks, goals and badges
A register-keeping streak, consecutive clean days with nothing overdue, a monthly rent goal, a utilisation target and sixteen badges — all derived from your real records.
Search, filter, pin, archive
One search box across stock, hires and customers. Filter the register by status or overdue, sort four ways, pin what you touch daily, archive the rest — with undo on every change.
Yours to take with you
Full JSON backup and restore, plus CSV for hires, hire lines, yard stock and customers. Files land on your own device and go where you send them.
Made to fit your yard
Light, dark or automatic; five accents; three densities; your own currency symbol; and billing rules any single hire can override.
Permissions and privacy
